Lavender to Lichen

An exploration of colour, using two carefully spun matching gradients to create a piece that transitions through a spectrum of emergent hues. Special care had to be taken to create two matching skeins of two-ply gradient yarn from multicoloured painted tops.

An extra level of richness is imparted by the blend of Romanov Wool, Mulberry Silk, Cashmere and Angora. While a small threading error was intentionally left uncorrected to create an additional subtle point of interest.
